So here are the more polished versions of Ma and Pa. There’s a little more detail on clothes and whatnot, but I have to keep in mind Ma will be modeled.
Character Design pt. 1
Here are some various designs for Ma, Pa, and the cat. From there I pick and choose different features to polish down to two designs.
Pose Design
Just testing out how the mouse should move and and situations it might be in. Then Ma is baking and left her scones in the oven a little too long; it just means they’re extra crispy!
Shapes and Color Palettes
So here I was testing out color palettes, focusing on a darker background with a brighter mouse, and some basic shapes seeing if we should go more realistic or cartoon-y.
