Finished Ma Model
Here is Ma’s topology, with and without the skirt (which I made double-sided for normals to always face out).
Modeling Ma
So I am still modeling Ma. Obviously she has no hands yet and the body is really sketchy still, but I’m working things out; the head is not connected to the body yet. Working on cleanup.

So here’s Mouse, who is smoothed for the time being. I still need to tweak him a bit.

Here are some various designs for Ma, Pa, and the cat. From there I pick and choose different features to polish down to two designs.
Pose Design
Just testing out how the mouse should move and and situations it might be in. Then Ma is baking and left her scones in the oven a little too long; it just means they’re extra crispy!
Shapes and Color Palettes
So here I was testing out color palettes, focusing on a darker background with a brighter mouse, and some basic shapes seeing if we should go more realistic or cartoon-y.
